Instructions
Add a beading needle to an arm-length of Fireline® thread.
Leaving a tail of thread, pick up one black and one blue bead. Pass through the black bead again, positioning the two beads side by side. Pass through the light blue bead again, keeping the tension of the thread tight.
Pick up a blue bead. Pass through the previous blue bead and the new bead again. Repeat to complete the pattern of Row 1.
Rows 2 - 14
Pick up the first two beads of the next row. Pass under the thread between the second-to-last and third-to-last beads of the previous row. Pass back through the second bead picked up, through the first bead again, and back through the second bead again.
Pick up the next bead of the row and pass under the next thread of the previous row. Pass back through the bead.
Repeat Step 4 to finish the row, then repeat Steps 3 and 4 to add through Row 14.
Pick up six black beads. Pass back through the first bead and through the second bead of Row 14. Pull the thread tight to create a loop. Pass through the loop two more times.
Pass through adjacent beads to exit the bead at the bottom corner of the triangle.
Pick up all the beads of Row 1. Skipping the last bead, pass back through all the beads and the bead exited from on the brick stitch portion. Pass through the next bead on the bottom of the brick stitch.
Repeat to add all 15 rows of fringe.
Pass the thread through beads in the pattern to secure the thread and design, then trim excess thread.
Add an ear wire to the top loop.
Repeat Steps 2 - 9 to create a second earring.
