Video Tutorial - Creating a Net with Square Knots

Creating a macramé net with square knots is easier than you think, especially when you follow along with these instructions led by jewelry designer Jude.

Instructions

Basic Style

Step 1

Secure 6 knotting cords to a holding cord, or a component, using lark's head knots.

Step 2

Using a square knot, tie knotting cords 1 and 4 over 2 and 3. Repeat with the following:

Cords 5 and 8 over 6 and 7
Cords 9 and 12 over 10 and 11

Step 3

To begin the next row tie cords 3 and 6 over 4 and 5. Repeat with cords 7 and 10 over 8 and 9.
