Generally a white stone, rainbow moonstone features occasional iridescent or multi-color flashes with transparency that ranges from opaque to semitranslucent. Rainbow moonstone is best seen in natural light for play of color. Designer-quality beads are meticulously hand-cut and hand-polished one bead at a time for gorgeous, smooth edges. Rainbow moonstone, it is commonly believed, offers us visions of things that aren't immediately obvious.
Beads are temporarily strung with metal spacers to prevent chipping and coordinating tassels at each end for a pleasing display. Sizes, shapes and colors may vary with handcrafted items.
