Chrysocolla blends blue, green, brown and tan tones, similar to the colors found in natural turquoise and lapis lazuli, ranging from rich and vibrant to subtle and understated. The surface is semi-textured with a finish that varies from light gloss to matte. With a Mohs hardness of 2 to 4, chrysocolla is a good choice for use in short necklace and earring designs that are protected from heavy abuse. Natural gemstones vary in color and tone.
