Teardrop beads are perfect as stand-alone drops on earrings or strung elegantly as a necklace. Carnelian, a variant of chalcedony, is named for the deep-orange color of the Kornel cherry. The vibrant red-orange to brown colors vary in tone throughout the strand. The lighter shades appear to glow, while the deeper tones display a brick red appearance.
Beads are temporarily strung with metal spacers to prevent chipping. Coordinating tassels at each end make a pleasing display. Sizes, shapes and colors may vary with handcrafted items.
