Chrysocolla beads are made of an appealing green stone from the quartz family. Copper in its chemical structure is responsible for the bright attractive color. Beads range in color from bright blue-green to pale sea green with white tones, interesting variations and an occasional black/brown matrix. Chrysocolla is stabilized to improve its hardness, durability and luster. Because it works well with turquoise and red coral, chrysocolla is ideal for Native American-themed jewelry.
