While silver-filled wire is ideal for basic wire-working, we recommend using sterling silver wire for more intricate projects.

This sterling silver-filled wire is not suitable for hammering or forging. Half-hard wire is malleable; however, it will maintain an intricate shape under stress.

For optimal results, use nylon jaw pliers or pliers dipped in Tool Magic® heavy-duty rubber coating when working with sterling silver-filled wire to prevent scratching or marring. Contains 10% silver, 1/10 silver filled. Due to the manufacturing process, wire may be in 1 or 2 sections.
