Citrine, one of the birthstones of November, is a form of quartz. Premium grade citrine varies from deep yellow to a wonderful yellow-orange hue, brightening jewelry and adding an attractive warmth to designs. The stone is very bright with minimal brown tones showcased by fine quality cutting. Clarity is eye clean. Natural citrine is rare, so most citrine is heat-treated amethyst or smoky quartz. Use in 12x6mm marquise mountings and settings.
In metaphysical beliefs, citrine is believed to attract success and wealth.
