Sky blue topaz beads feature enhanced sparkle from non-harmful, environmentally safe irradiation. The irradiation is used to alter the color (usually from clear to blue). The designer-quality beads are cut and polished by hand with rigorous attention to detail. According to metaphysical beliefs, blue topaz heightens both speaking and writing communication skills. Beads are temporarily strung with silver-plated copper spacers to protect against chipping. Sizes, shapes and colors may vary with handcrafted items.
