- Bezel cup, sterling silver, solid back, 20mm unpolished round
- Adhesive, epoxy, Devcon® 2 Ton® Clear Epoxy, 30-minute, 2-part
- Cabochon, carnelian (dyed / heated), 20mm calibrated cube-cut round, B grade, Mohs hardness 6-1/2 to 7
- Bead reamer, Beadalon®, plastic and diamond-coated steel, blue and black, 5-1/2 x 1-1/4 inches with 2-inch tips
- Embellishment positioner, Embellie Gellie™, plastic / silicone rubber / wood, clear, 2-1/8 x 1-1/4 inches with 4-1/2 inch wand
- Money clip, stainless steel, 2x1-inch rectangle
Instructions
Step 1
Using the tip of a battery-operated bead reamer, rough the back and bottom surface of a 20mm round bezel cup.
Step 2
Find the center of the stainless-steel money clip. Use the tip of the bead reamer to roughen the surface in a small circular pattern corresponding to the area where the cabochon will be placed. Be sure not to roughen any part of the money clip that will not be hidden beneath the cabochon.
Step 3
Glue a 20mm cabochon into the bezel cup using Devcon® 5 Minute® Epoxy. Let dry 10 minutes.
Step 4
Using a thin layer of epoxy, glue the set cabochon onto the money clip. Immediately clean any epoxy showing around the edges of the cabochon with a cotton swab and alcohol. Let dry 10 minutes.
