- Bead, brecciated jasper (natural), 6mm round, C grade, Mohs hardness 6-1/2 to 7
- Bead, brecciated jasper (natural), 8mm round, C grade, Mohs hardness 6-1/2 to 7
- Bead, Hemalyke™ (man-made), black, 4x1mm heishi
- Bead, stainless steel, 3mm round
- Beading wire, Accu-Flex®, nylon and stainless steel, clear, 49 strand, 0.019-inch diameter
- Clasp, lobster claw, stainless steel, 11x8mm
- Crimp cover, silver-plated brass, 4mm round
- Crimp, sterling silver-filled, 2mm tube
- Jump ring, stainless steel, 5mm round, 3.6mm inside diameter, 22 gauge
- Pendant, stainless steel, 20.5x19mm matte and shiny triskele
- Wire protector, Accu-Guard™, silver-plated brass, 4mm tube
Instructions
Necklace Instructions
Step 1
Cut one 18-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire.
Step 2
String onto the beading wire: one crimp and one Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end.
Crimp, then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a 4mm crimp cover.
Step 3
String the following onto the beading wire:
- One brecciated jasper 6mm round
- Repeat this sequence to string 24 sets:
- One Hemalyke black 4x1mm heishi
- One brecciated jasper 8mm round
- One stainless steel 3mm round
Step 4
Continue to string one stainless steel 20.5x19mm triskele pendant then repeat Step 3 in the opposite direction to string the second half of the necklace.
Repeat Step 2 to secure the second half of the necklace.
Step 5
Pass one 5mm jump ring through the Accu-Guard on one end of the necklace and the loop on one lobster claw clasp then close.
Pass one 5mm jump ring through the Accu-Guard on the opposite end of the necklace then close.
Pass one 5mm jump ring through the previous 5mm jump ring then close.
