- Bead, Czech glass druk, opaque white, 4mm round
- Bead, Czech glass druk, transparent ruby red, 6mm round
- Bead, porcelain, black and white, 15mm double-sided flat round with yin-yang symbol
- Bead, riverstone (dyed), black, 6x4mm rondelle, B grade, Mohs hardness 3-1/2
- Beading wire, Accu-Flex®, nylon and stainless steel, clear, 49 strand, 0.019-inch diameter
- Clasp, lobster claw, gunmetal-plated "pewter" (zinc-based alloy), 19.5x13mm with double-sided abstract design
- Crimp cover, gunmetal-plated brass, 4mm round
- Crimp, sterling silver, 2mm cut tube, 1.4mm inside diameter
- Jump ring, gunmetal-plated brass, 4mm round, 2.4mm inside diameter, 20 gauge
- Jump ring, gunmetal-plated brass, 7x5mm oval, 5.5x3.2mm inside diameter, 18 gauge
- Wire protector, Accu-Guard™, gunmetal-plated brass, 4mm tube, 0.5mm inside diameter
Instructions
Necklace Instructions
Step 1
Cut one 20-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire.
Step 2
String onto the beading wire: one crimp and one Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end.
Crimp then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a 4mm crimp cover.
Step 3
String the following onto the beading wire:
- Five riverstone 6x4mm rondelles
- One white 4mm round
- One ruby red 6mm round
- One white 4mm round
Repeat this sequence to string a total of six sets.
Step 4
Continue to string the following:
- Five riverstone 6x4mm rondelles
- One white 4mm round
- One ruby red 6mm round
Step 5
Continue to string one 15mm flat round yin-yang symbol bead then repeat then Steps 3 and 4 in the opposite direction to string the second half of the necklace.
Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.
Step 6
Pass one 4mm jumpring through the loop on one lobster claw clasp and the Accu-Guard on one end of the strand. Attach one 7x5mm oval jumpring through the Accu-Guard on the opposite end.
