Instructions
Working off the spool of 14-gauge wire, create a simple loop at the end of the wire. Gently curve the wire in to create a spiral base. From the center of the spiral, bend the wire up. Approximately three inches further down the wire make a 45-degree bend.
Make a 45-degree bend one inch further down the wire in the opposite direction. Bend the wire back on itself approximately one inch further down the wire to create an upside-down teardrop shape.
Bend the wire in the opposite direction at a 45-degree angle then curve back down to create the second half of the heart.
Bend the wire up and around the first half of the heart. Grip the wire with round-nose pliers and wrap the wire around to create a loop for the center of the outer heart. Bend the wire around to create the second half of the center heart.
Wrap the wire around the stem to secure. Continue to tightly coil the wire down to the first 45-degree bend.
Bring the wire up and 45 degrees in the other direction. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to create a second heart to mirror the first, coiling back down to the first bend again.
Bring the wire up between the two hearts. Approximately 2 1/2 inches further down the wire, repeat Steps 2 and 3 to create a third heart. Trim the wire after coiling down the stem.
Cut a 7-inch length of 24-gauge wire. String two to four beads and center on the wire. Bend the wire back around the beads so the tails meet then tightly twist to secure. Twist the wire ends all the way down to create a stem.
Repeat to create the desired number of sprigs.
Use adhesive to add faux leaves and flowers to the spiral base, adding sprigs as desired.
