- Bead, Crystal Passions®, crystal bronze shade, 3mm bicone (5328)
- Bead, Crystal Passions®, crystal clear, 3mm bicone (5328)
- Bead, smoky quartz (heated / irradiated), 12x6mm hand-cut top-drilled faceted briolette, B grade, Mohs hardness 7
- Beading hoop, silver-plated brass, 20mm round with loop
- Ear wire, silver-plated brass, 17mm fishhook with 2mm ball and open loop, 22 gauge
- Wire, ParaWire™, silver-plated copper, round, 26 gauge
Instructions
Step 1
Cut two 10-inch and two 14-inch lengths of 26-gauge wire.
Step 2
Wrap one end of one 14-inch length of wire approximately 2 - 3 times around the beading hoop, adjacent to one end.
Step 3
String one crystal bronze shade 3mm bicone onto the wire then wrap once around the beading hoop.
Step 4
String one crystal clear 3mm bicone onto the wire then wrap once around the beading hoop.
Repeat two more times.
Step 5
Repeat Steps 3 and 4 four more times.
Repeat Step 3. Trim excess wire.
Step 6
String a smoky quartz briolette bead onto a 10-inch length of wire then begin to form a briolette wrapped loop, passing the loop through the inner hole of the beading hoop before finishing the wrap.
Continue to wrap the tail of wire around itself, forming a cone of wire covering the top of the smoky quartz briolette. Trim excess wire.
Step 7
Attach an ear wire to the top hole of the beading hoop to complete the earring.
Step 8
Repeat Steps 2 - 7 to create a second earring.
