- Bead, chrysoprase (natural), 4mm round, B- grade, Mohs hardness 6-1/2 to 7
- Bead, chrysoprase (natural), 4x1mm-6x2mm hand-cut rondelle, B grade, Mohs hardness 6-1/2 to 7
- Bead, chrysoprase (natural), 4x1mm-6x2mm hand-cut square rondelle, B grade, Mohs hardness 6-1/2 to 7
- Bead, chrysoprase (natural), 6mm round, B- grade, Mohs hardness 6-1/2 to 7
- Bead, gold-finished steel, 6x1mm heishi. Sold per pkg of 100.
- Bead, gold-plated brass, 2mm-4.5x3mm assorted round and rondelle
- Bead, gold-plated brass, 5x2mm heishi
- Chain, gold-finished steel, 4mm long cable
- Component, gold-plated brass, 32x8mm 7-row filigree cluster
- Ear wire, gold-plated brass, 17mm fishhook with 2.5mm ball and open loop, 22 gauge
- Eye pin, gold-plated brass, 1-1/2 inches, 24 gauge
- Head pin, gold-plated brass, 1-1/2 inches with 1.5mm ball, 24 gauge
- Jump ring, gold-plated brass, 4mm round, 2.4mm inside diameter, 20 gauge
Instructions
Step 1
Pass the following onto a head pin:
- One 5x2mm brass heishi
- One chrysoprase square rondelle
- One 4mm chrysoprase round
- One brass round or rondelle
- The bottom loop of one end of a filigree component
Form a wrapped loop. Repeat on the other end of the filigree component.
Step 2
Pass the following onto an eye pin:
- One 5x2mm brass heishi
- One chrysoprase square rondelle
- One chrysoprase rondelle
- One 4mm chrysoprase round
- One brass round or rondelle
- The next bottom loop of the filigree component
Form a wrapped loop.
Pass the following onto a head pin:
- One brass round or rondelle
- One 5x2mm brass heishi
- One chrysoprase square rondelle
- One chrysoprase rondelle
- One brass round or rondelle
- The bottom loop of the previously attached link
Form a wrapped loop. Repeat on the other end of the filigree component.
Step 3
Pass the following onto a head pin:
- One brass round or rondelle
- One 5x2mm brass heishi
- One chrysoprase square rondelle
- One chrysoprase rondelle
- One 4mm chrysoprase round
- One brass round or rondelle
- The next bottom loop of the filigree component
Form a wrapped loop. Repeat on the other end of the filigree component.
Step 4
Pass the following onto an eye pin:
- Two 6x1mm brass heishi beads
- One 6mm chrysoprase round
- One brass round or rondelle
- The bottom-middle loop of the filigree component
Form a wrapped loop.
Pass the following onto a head pin:
- One brass round or rondelle
- One 5x2mm brass heishi
- One chrysoprase square rondelle
- One chrysoprase rondelle
- One 5x2mm brass heishi
- Two 6x1mm brass heishi beads
- One 6mm chrysoprase round
- One brass round or rondelle
- The bottom loop of the previously attached link
Form a wrapped loop.
Step 5
Cut two 2-link lengths of cable chain.
Step 6
Open a jump ring. Slide on one link of chain and one end of the filigree component. Close the jump ring. Repeat to add the second length of chain to the other end of the filigree component.
Step 7
Attach one jump ring to each end of chain. Open a new jump ring then slide on the two jump rings on the ends of the chains and an ear wire. Close the jump ring.
Step 8
Repeat Steps 1 - 7 to create a second earring.
