Instructions
Cut one 22-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional quality beading wire and one 24-inch length of 28-gauge dead-soft wire.
Wrap one end of the 24-inch length of wire three times around one 40mm textured flat circle focal. Trim excess from the short end.
String one 4mm bicone (in the color of your choice) onto the beading wire, positioning it so that it lays flat against the face of the focal, then wrap the wire once around the focal. Repeat two more times using the same color bicone, creating a set of three matched bicones.
Repeat Step 3 to wrap a total of ten sets of three bicones and one set of two bicones around the focal in the colors of your choice.
Wrap the wire three times around the focal to secure then trim excess wire.
String onto the length of beading wire: one crimp and one Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a crimp cover.
Pass one 5.5mm jump ring through the Accu-Guard and one half of the toggle clasp then close.
String onto the beading wire:
Leave a 5-inch gap in the beading wire then crimp the first crimp. Slide the second crimp so it is snug against the bicones then crimp, suspending the beads on the beading wire.
Repeat Step 6 two more times.
Repeat Steps 6 and 7 in the opposite direction, mirroring the bicone pattern.
Leave a 5-inch gap in the beading wire then repeat Step 5 to secure the strand.
Using a pair of flush-cutter pliers, cut one 12mm textured flat circle so it can open like a jump ring.
Pass the 12mm flat circle through the bicone focal and around the strand then close.
Tip: For added security, apply a dab of Devcon® 5-Minute® Epoxy to secure the gap in the 12mm, preventing it from unintentionally opening.
Cut two 18-inch lengths of 28-gauge dead soft wire.
Wrap one end of the 24-inch length of wire three times around one 32mm textured flat circle focal. Trim excess from the short end.
String one 4mm bicone (in the color of your choice) onto the beading wire, positioning it so that it lays flat against the face of the focal, then wrap the wire once around the focal. Repeat, creating a set of two matched bicones.
Repeat Step 3 to wrap a total of twelve sets of two bicones around the focal in the pattern of your choice.
Wrap the wire three times around the focal to secure then trim excess wire.
Repeat Steps 2 - 4 to create a second beaded bicone focal.
Using a pair of flush-cutter pliers, cut one 12mm textured flat circle so it can open like a jump ring.
Pass the 12mm flat circle through the bicone focal and around a second 12mm textured flat circle then close.
Attach an ear wire to the closed 12mm flat circle.
Tip: For added security, apply a dab of Devcon® 5-Minute® Epoxy to secure the gap in the 12mm, preventing it from unintentionally opening.
Repeat Step 6 to create a second earring.
