- Focal, Britannia pewter (tin-based alloy), 45x30.5mm single-sided diamond-cut crucifix
- Eye pin, antique silver-plated brass, 1-1/2 inches, 21 gauge
- Connector, Britannia pewter (tin-based alloy), 22x16mm two-sided diamond-cut rosary with Miraculous Medal
- Chain, antique silver-plated steel, 4.8x3.3mm cable
- Bead, Connemara marble (natural), 8mm round, B grade, Mohs hardness 3
- Bead, Connemara marble (natural), 6mm round, B grade, Mohs hardness 3
Instructions
Step 1
Cut fourteen 3/4 inch lengths of chain.
Rosary Drop
Step 2
String one 8mm round onto one 1-1/2 inch eyepin then form a simple loop. Repeat to create a total of six 8mm round links.
Repeat using 6mm rounds to create fifty-three 6mm round links.
Step 3
Pass one loop of one 6mm round link through one loop on an additional 6mm round link then close. Repeat to attach one 6mm round link to the opposite end of the previous link, creating a 6mm round link chain.
Step 4
Attach the jumpring on the Britannia focal to the first link of one length of chain then close.
Step 5
Continue to connect the following end-to-end to the previous length of chain:
- One 8mm round link
- One length of chain
- The 6mm round link chain
- One length of chain
- One 8mm round link
- One length of chain
- The jumpring on the pointed end of the Britannia pewter connector
Assembly
Step 6
Connect the following end-to-end:
- Four sets of:
- One length of chain
- Ten 6mm round links
- One length of chain
- One 8mm round link
- One length of chain
- Ten 6mm round links
- One length of chain
Step 7
Use the jumprings attached to the Britannia pewter connector to attach each end of the strand to the 2-loop end of the connector, finishing the necklace.
