Instructions
Necklace Instructions
Step 1
String one 12x12mm diamond pink glass bead onto an eyepin. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a simple loop on the straight end of a 1-1/4 inch eyepin. Repeat to create seven12x12mm diamond pink glass beading links.
Repeat to create the following:
- Seven 11x8mm turquoise blue rounded rectangle beading links using one 11x8mm turquoise blue glass rounded rectangle bead and one 1-1/4 inch eyepin
- Eight 12x10mm turquoise blue rectangle beading links using one 12x10mm turquoise blue rectangle glass bead and one 1-1/4 inch eyepin
- Six 12x12mm turquoise blue glass diamond beading links using one 12x12mm turquoise blue glass diamond bead and one 1-1/4 inch eyepin
Step 2
Open four antiqued gold-plated 16x8mm barrel clasps, four antiqued silver-plated 16x8mm barrel clasps, four antiqued gunmetal-plated 16x8mm barrel clasps and four antiqued copper-plated 16x8mm barrel clasps. Reattach the clasps together with opposite colors in a random order.
Step 3
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open a 5mm antiqued brass-plated jumpring. Pass it through the loop on a16x8mm barrel clasp and the loop on a random glass beading link. Close the jumpring. Repeat to attach a second 5mm antiqued brass-plated jumpring next to the first to create a double jumpring.
Step 4
Continue to attach the components in the following order using two 5mm antiqued brass-plated jumprings (double jumpring):
- One 11mm round barrel clasp (in a random pattern)
- One glass beading link (in a random pattern)
- One 16x8mm barrel clasp
- One glass beading link (in a random pattern)
Repeat for a total of ten sets adding an extra 11mm round barrel clasp at the end of of every fifth set.
Earring Instructions
Step 1
String one 12x12mm diamond turquoise blue glass bead onto a 1-1/4 inch eyepin. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a simple loop on the straight end of the eyepin. Repeat to create two 12x12mm diamond turquoise blue glass beading links.
Step 2
Open one antiqued gold-plated 12x5mm barrel clasp and one antiqued copper-plated 12x5mm barrel clasp. Reattach the clasps together with opposite colors.
Step 3
String one 12x5mm two-tone barrel clasp onto one 1-inch antiqued brass-plated headpin. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a simple loop on the straight end of the the headpin.
Repeat to create a total of two 12x5mm two-tone barrel clasp beading drops.
Repeat to create a total of two 12x5mm two-tone barrel clasp beading links using one 12x5mm two-tone barrel clasp and one 1-1/4 inch antiqued brass plated eyepin.
Step 4
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open a 5mm antiqued brass-plated jumpring. Pass it through the loop on a12x5mm two-tone barrel clasp beading drop and the loop on a 12x12mm diamond turquoise blue glass beading link. Close the jumpring. Repeat to attach a second 5mm antiqued brass-plated jumpring next to the first to create a double jumpring.
Attach two 5mm antiqued brass-plated jumprings (double jumpring) to the opposite loop on the 12x12mm diamond turquoise blue glass beading link and the loop on a two-tone 12x5mm barrel clasp beading link.
Step 5
Open the loop on an earwire. Pass it through the opposite loop on a 12x5mm two-tone barrel clasp beading link. Close the loop.
Step 6
Repeat Steps 4 and 5 to create the second earring.
