Jump ring, silver-plated brass, 6mm round, 4.2mm inside diameter, 18 gauge
Bead, Miyuki, half TILA®, glass, transparent pistachio, (HTL146), 5x2.3mm rectangle with (2) 0.8mm holes, fits up to 3mm beads
Bead, Miyuki, half TILA®, glass, transparent light fire red, (HTL140), 5x2.3mm rectangle with (2) 0.8mm holes, fits up to 3mm beads
Clasp, lobster claw, silver-plated brass, 14x8mm with swivel
Bead, Czech fire-polished glass, transparent emerald green, 4mm faceted round
Seed bead, Miyuki, glass, transparent red, (DP140), 4x3.4mm fringe
Jump ring, silver-plated brass, 4.5mm round, 2.9mm inside diameter, 20 gauge

Instructions

Step 1

Cut a 6-foot length of FireLine® thread. Thread a needle onto each end.

2-Hole Bead Ladder Stitch

Step 2

Pick up the first hole of a pistachio half Tila, two silver-lined emerald #11 seed beads and the first hole of a light fire red half Tila, centering them on the thread.

Step 3

Pass both needles through the following, in opposite directions:

The second hole of the red half Tila added in Step 2
The first hole of a pistachio half Tila
The second hole of the pistachio half Tila added in Step 2

Step 4

With each needle, pick up a red half Tila.

Step 5

Pass both needles through the following, in opposite directions:

The second hole of the nearest red half Tila added in Step 4
The first hole of a pistachio half Tila
The second hole of the pistachio half Tila added in Step 4
The first hole of a red half Tila
The second hole of the next red half Tila added in Step 4

Step 6

Pass both needles through the following, in opposite directions:

Step 7

Pass both needles through the following, in opposite directions:

Step 8

With each needle, pick up a red half Tila.

Pass both needles through the following, in opposite directions:

Step 12

Pass both needles through the following, in opposite directions:

Step 13

Repeat Steps 8 - 12 until the length is within 1/2 inch of the desired length.

Step 14

Repeat Steps 2 - 6 in reverse to decrease the weave back down to two half Tila beads.

Step 15

Weave each needle back through adjacent beads to secure the thread. For additional security add a knot with each thread end.

Assembling the Bracelet

Step 16

String an emerald 4mm round onto a head pin then create a simple loop.

Step 17

Add a 4.5mm jump ring to a red fringe bead.

Step 18

Add a 4mm jump ring over the seed beads at one end of the bracelet. Repeat to create double jump rings.

Repeat at the opposite end of the bracelet.

Step 19

Pass a 6mm jump ring through the double jump rings at the end of the bracelet and a close 6mm jump ring, then close. Repeat to add seven more jump rings, creating a chain.

Use a 6mm jump ring to attach the drops created in Steps 16 and 17 to the last jump ring of the chain.

Step 20

Use a 6mm jump ring to attach a lobster claw clasp to the double jump rings on the opposite end of the necklace.
