Instructions
Cut a 3-foot length of stringing material. Thread a beading needle, leaving a tail.
Pick up the following seed beads:
Bring the beads to the end of the thread, leaving a 6-inch tail, then tie a surgeon's knot to create the first row.
Pass through the first two 15/0 seed beads.
Pick up one 15/0.
Pass over the next 15/0 and pass through the fourth 15/0 on the first row.
Pick up one 15/0.
Pass over the first 11/0 and pass through the second 11/0.
Pick up one 11/0.
Pass over the first 8/0 and pass through the second 8/0.
Pick up one 8/0.
Pass over the first 6/0 and pass through the second 6/0.
Pick up one 6/0.
Pass over the first 8/0 and pass through the second 8/0.
Pick up one 8/0.
Pass over the first 11/0 and pass through the second 11/0.
Pick up one 11/0.
Pass over the first 15/0 and pass through the next two 15/0 seed beads.
Repeat Steps 5 - 11, always passing over the first exposed instance of a bead and passing through the second, until the spiral reaches the desired length.
Tip: You will always add the same seed bead as you just passed through.
Pass through adjacent beads in the weave to secure the thread. For additional security add a knot.
Thread a needle to the tail created in Step 3 and repeat to secure.
