How to Use Beadswax®

Use Beadswax to decorate gourds or any surface with beads. Just soften Beadswax, paint or press onto the surface to be decorated, then apply your beads. Beadswax will not reject beads over time.

Instructions

Step 1
Block of beadswax

Shave the Beadswax then knead the shavings with your fingers or hands. Press the kneaded pieces onto the surface to be decorated.

Step 2
Painting melted wax onto paper

Another option is to heat it in a double boiler until melted. Apply it to your work surface using a craft paintbrush.

Step 3
Placing beads on waxed paper

Once you've applied the Beadswax, press your beads into the wax using a toothpick or other small tipped tool. When your design is complete, set the finished gourd out for display or take the decorated paper and use it in your scrapbooking or handmade-card projects. The possibilities are limitless. The beads will not pop off after time, so be creative!
