Draw or print your design on a piece of paper. Cut to fit into the focal setting.
Use a paint brush to cover both sides of the cutout design with liquid polymer clay then bake according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Apply a thin coat of resin to the design then place the paper in the focal setting. Use a toothpick to work out any air bubbles from behind the paper. Apply a thicker coat of resin over the paper and flash with a lighter to remove any bubbles. Set aside to cure overnight.
Open a jump ring. Slide on the dry focal then close the jump ring.
Cut a 20-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional quality beading wire.
String a crimp and an Accu-Guard™ wire protector onto the beading wire. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp then add a crimp cover.
String beads and the focal in the appropriate pattern, using the image above as reference.
Repeat Step 5 to secure the strand. Use jump rings to attach a clasp to the end of the necklace.
Attach nine jump rings together to form a chain. Attach an ear wire to one end.
Pass a bead onto a head pin then form a simple loop. Repeat to create a total of 19 drops in desired colors.
Attach the drops to the jump rings in the desired pattern.
Repeat Steps 1 - 3 to create a second earring.
