- Bead, Preciosa, glass, transparent light red, 4mm heart
- Bracelet component, silicone and stainless steel, clear, 2.5mm square rolo chain, 9-3/4 inches with 8mm flat round adjustable slider bead and (2) 5mm balls with 2 open loops
- Head pin, silver-plated brass, 2 inches, 24 gauge
- Jump ring, stainless steel, 5mm round, 3.4mm inside diameter, 20 gauge
- Sheet, copper, half-hard, 6-inch square, 26 gauge
- Ball peen hammer, plastic and brass, black and yellow, 6-1/4 inches with 1-inch flat head and 1-inch ball head
- Disc cutter, steel and rubber, black and silver, 7-1/4 inch round base for cutting 3-31.6mm rounds
- Disc cutter, steel and wood, 3x3x1-inch base for cutting 11mm-29x25mm hearts
- Pliers, hole punch, carbon steel and plastic, black and blue, 5-1/2 inches with 1.5mm round punch
- Sanding pad, micro-mesh, 2-inch square, 1500-12000 grit
Instructions
Bracelet Instructions
Step 1
Use a disc cutter to cut a circle from a sheet of 26-gauge copper.
Place the circle on the smallest hole of a heart-shape disc cutter so the curves of the top of the heart is 3mm from the top edge of the circle. Punch a heart shape.
Step 2
Use hole-punch pliers to add holes at the 3 and 9-o-clock positions of the round component and a hole in the top left of the copper heart.
Step 3
Sand the outer and inner edges of both copper components.
Step 4
Use alphabet stamps and a hammer to stamp "mine" at the bottom of the round component. Use an ultra-fine permanent marker to darken the letters.
Step 5
String a 4mm heart bead onto a head pin and create a wrapped loop. Repeat to create a second drop.
Step 6
Use a 5mm jump ring to attach the copper heart and both beaded drops to the top of the circle component.
Step 7
Attach each ring of an adjustable bracelet to the holes in the round component.
