- Jump ring, antique copper-plated brass, 4mm round, 2.4mm inside diameter, 20 gauge
- Crimp end, JBB Findings, antique copper-plated pewter (tin-based alloy), 6x5mm tube with loop, 2.75mm inside diameter
- Firing block, compressed vermiculite, white, 6 x 4 x 1 inches
- Fine steel wire brush, 8-1/4x5/8 inches
- Clay carving tool, stainless steel, 6-1/4 to 6-3/4 inches
- Non-stick sheet, Teflon®, white, 6-inch square
- Sanding pad, micro-mesh, 2-inch square, 1500-12000 grit
- Slats, acrylic, assorted colors, 6 inches
- Tongs, copper, 8-3/4 inch curved
- Firing fork, stainless steel and wood, 6-1/2 x 6-inch tines, 36 inches long overall
- Roller set, acrylic, clear, (1) 7-3/4 x 1-1/4 inch round and (1) 7-3/4 x 1-inch round
- Pickle compound, Sparex®, sodium acid sulfate / nitre cake / sodium hydrogen sulfate, for non-ferrous metals
- Mesh screen, stainless steel, 5-inch square
- Metal clay conditioner and release, slikbaby
- Jump ring, clear-coated copper, 8mm round, 5.4mm inside diameter, 16 gauge
- Metal coating, Swellegant!™, iron
- Sealant, Swellegant!™, matte clear. Sold per 1-fluid ounce bottle.
- Prometheus® bronze clay, rapid and low fire
- Clasp, hook-and-eye, antique copper-finished brass, 12.5x8.5mm flat
- Cord, leather and cotton (dyed), black, 2.5mm zigzag-stitched round
Instructions
Step 1
Using the purple (2mm) slat and a Teflon® sheet, roll out conditioned bronze clay.
Cut a rectangle from the clay then create a hole in each top corner.
Allow the clay to dry.
Step 2
Carve your desired design on the face of the pendant and file any rough edges.
Step 3
Fire the pendant per the metal clay instructions.
Step 4
Brush and sand fired piece.
