Chain, gold-plated brass, 11mm / 16mm / 23mm interlocking round
Eye pin, gold-plated brass, 1-1/2 inches, 24 gauge
Head pin, gold-plated brass, 1-1/2 inches, 21 gauge
Jump ring, gold-plated brass, 4mm round, 2.4mm inside diameter, 20 gauge

Instructions

Necklace Instructions

Step 1

Cut 30 segments of interlocking chain. Each segment includes one nested set of large and medium rings and one smaller ring connecting them.

Step 2

Cut sixty 1-1/4 inch lengths of 3mm figure-8 chain.

Step 3

String a bright pink 8mm round onto an eye pin then create a simple loop.

Repeat to create 19 additional pink links and 10 turquoise blue 4mm links.

Step 4

Pass a length of figure-8 chain through the small ring of a chain segment.

Pass a 4mm jump ring through both end links of the figure-8 chain and the loop of a turquoise blue link, then close.

Repeat using a new length of chain, new chain segment and the opposite loop of the link.

Step 5

Pass a length of figure-8 chain through the medium ring of the second chain segment added in Step 4.

Pass a 4mm jump ring through both end links of the figure-8 chain and the loop of a pink link, then close.

Repeat using a new length of chain, new chain segment and the opposite loop of the link.

Step 6

Repeat:

Step 4 using a pink link
Step 5 using a blue link
Step 4 using a pink link
Step 5 using a pink link
Step 4 using a blue link

Step 7

Pass a length of figure-8 chain through the medium ring of the second chain segment just added.

Pass a 4mm jump ring through both end links of the figure-8 chain and the loop of a pink link, then close.

Pass a length of figure-8 chain through the small ring of a new chain segment.

Pass a 4mm jump ring through both end links of the figure-8 chain and the opposite loop of the pink link.

Step 8

Repeat:

Step 5 using a pink link
Step 4 using a blue link
Step 7 using a pink link
Step 5 using a pink link

Pass a length of figure-8 chain through the medium ring of the second chain segment just added.

Pass a 4mm jump ring through both end links of the figure-8 chain and the loop of a pink link, then close.

Pass a new length of figure-8 chain through the medium ring of the first chain segment added in Step 4.

Pass a 4mm jump ring through both end links of the figure-8 chain and the opposite loop of the pink link, then close.

Earrings Instructions

Step 1

Cut two segments of interlocking chain. Each segment includes one nested set of large and medium rings and one smaller ring connecting them.

Step 2

String a bright pink 8mm round onto a head pin then create a simple loop.

Repeat to create a second pink drop and two turquoise blue 4mm drops.

Step 3

Add a pink drop to the medium ring of a chain segment.

Add a blue drop to the large ring of the chain segment.

Use a 4mm jump ring to attach the small ring of the chain segment to the loop of an ear wire.

Repeat to create the second earring.
