Instructions
Note: Before beginning this project, it may be helpful to prepare by opening all the 12mm jump rings ahead of time.
String onto a head pin: one bead cap, one 5-6.5mm round and one bead cap then form a simple loop. Pass one 4mm jump ring through the simple loop then close.
Pass one 12mm jump ring through the following then close:
Pass one 12mm jump ring through the previous three 4mm jump rings, then add three more 4mm jump rings. Repeat once.
Pass one 12mm jump ring through the last three 4mm jump rings added in Step 3 then add six more 4mm jump rings and close.
Position the six newly added 4mm jump rings so there are three on each side.
Pass one 12mm jump ring through three of the previous 4mm jump rings, two 5-6.5mm rounds (positioned on the top side of the 12mm jump ring) and three more 4mm jump rings then close.
Pass one 12mm jump ring through the last three 4mm jump rings added, two 5-6.5mm rounds (positioned on the bottom side of the 12mm jump ring) and three more 4mm jump rings then close.
Repeat Step 5 two more times, creating a 6-link section of alternating beaded chain.
Using triple 4mm jump rings between each, continue to add 14 more 12mm jump rings to the chain.
Repeat Steps 5 - 7, beginning with the remaining three 4mm jump rings from Step 4, to create the second half of the necklace.
Pass one 4mm jump ring through one springring clasp and the last 12mm jump ring on one end.
String onto a head pin: one bead cap, one 5-6.5mm round and one bead cap then form a simple loop. Pass one 4mm jump ring through the simple loop then close.
Repeat to create a second drop.
Pass one 12mm jump ring through the following then close:
Pass one 12mm jump ring through the three 4mm jump rings in Step 2 then add 3 more 4mm jump rings and close.
Pass one 12mm jump ring through the previous three 4mm jump rings then add an ear wire and close.
Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to create a second earring.
