- Clasp, TierraCast®, "Caravan" collection, 3-to-1 strand toggle, antique gold-plated pewter (tin-based alloy), 21x18.5mm double-sided temple
- Charm, TierraCast®, "Caravan" collection, antique gold-plated pewter (tin-based alloy), 21x17mm two-sided Mehndi
- Bead, coated glass, opaque matte dark blue AB, 5-6mm uneven round
- Ear wire, gold-plated brass, 17.5mm leverback with open loop
- Jump ring, brass, 12mm round, 10mm inside diameter, 18 gauge
- Jump ring, gold-plated brass, 6mm twisted round, 3.6mm inside diameter, 16 gauge
- Jump ring, gold-plated brass, 4mm round, 2.4mm inside diameter, 20 gauge
Instructions
Necklace Instructions
Step 1
String a dark blue AB 6mm round onto a 12mm jump ring then close. Repeat to add a bead to a total of 58 12mm jump rings.
Step 2
Close two new 12mm jump rings and open 58 6mm jump rings.
Step 3
Place one beaded jump ring so it slightly overlaps one 12mm closed jump ring with the bead sitting inside the closed jump ring, creating an eye.
Step 4
Pass a 6mm jump ring through the eye created by the 12mm jump rings then close. Repeat to add a jump ring to the opposite side of the eye.
Step 5
Place a beaded jump ring so it slightly overlaps the previously added beaded jump ring, creating an eye, then repeat Step 4.
Repeat to add 27 more beaded jump rings.
Step 6
Repeat Steps 3 - 5 to create a second length of chainmaille.
Step 7
Add a 4mm jump ring to half of a toggle clasp. Repeat to add a jump ring to the second half of the clasp.
Step 8
Use 4mm jump rings to attach the loop of a Mehndi charm, the last jump ring of a length of chainmaille and the jump ring on one half of the toggle clasp.
Repeat to complete the second half of the necklace.
Earring Instructions
Step 1
String a dark blue AB 6mm round onto a 12mm jump ring then close. Repeat to add a bead to a total of six jump rings.
Step 2
Place a beaded jump ring so it slightly overlaps a second beaded jump ring, creating an eye.
Pass a 6mm jump ring through the eye created by the 12mm jump rings then close. Repeat to add a jump ring to the opposite side of the eye.
Step 3
Repeat Step 2 to add a third beaded jump ring.
Step 4
Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to create a second length of chainmaille.
Step 5
Pass the loop of an ear wire through the first jump ring of a length of chainmaille then close. Repeat to complete the second earring.
