How to Create a Japanese 4-in-1 Chainmaille Weave

Instructions

Step 1

Alternating large and small rings, create a 1-1 chain that is the desired finished width of the weave.

Repeat to create a second chain that is the same width.

Step 2

Pass a small jump ring through the first large ring on the first and second chains, then close.

Repeat to connect each corresponding ring on the chain.

Step 3

Create a 1-1 chain as in Step 1. Repeat Step 2 to connect the new chain to the sheet of chainmaille.

Step 4

Continue to create and attach 1-1 chains until the weave is the desired length.
