Instructions
Pass one black 12mm jump ring through four black 12mm jump rings then close. Repeat to attach a second black 12mm jump ring creating double jump rings. Separate the four jump rings into two sets of four creating a 2-2-2 chain.
Tip: If desired, pass a spare piece of wire through two jump rings on one end of the chain to make them easier to hold.
Let the last two jump rings on the chain fall to the sides of the previous set (center rings) of jump rings. Rotate the chain so the fallen rings are parallel to your body then spread the center set of rings. Attach double green 12mm jump ring to the center rings. (The fallen rings will be pulled up to interlink with the center rings.)
Using the previous set of green jump rings, create a green 2-2-2 chain segment then repeat Step 2 using double black jump rings.
Continue the Byzantine chainmaille bracelet, alternating between green and black jump rings, to the desired length (approximately 7-1/2 inches).
For the last set of jump rings: pass one 12mm jump ring (next alternating color) through one more jump ring (same color) and the previous set of jump rings then close. Repeat to attach a second jump ring create a 2-2-1 chain.
Use double 7mm jump rings to attach a lobster claw clasp to the opposite end of the bracelet.
