Instructions
Attach a paper clip to two closed gold 8mm twisted jumprings.
Pass one open gunmetal 8mm jumpring through the two previous gold 8mm twisted jumprings then close. Repeat to attach a second gunmetal 8mm jumpring creating a 2-2 chain.
Grasp the paper clip at the base of the jumprings and allow the gunmetal 8mm jumprings to fall to either side of the gold 8mm twisted jumprings.
Spread the gold 8mm twisted jumprings open then pass one gold 8mm twisted jumpring through the previous two gunmetal 8mm jumprings. Repeat to attach a second gold 8mm jumpring.
Tip: If the first set of gold 8mm twisted jumprings fall during this step simply pull on the end jumprings to pull them back in place.
Pass one gunmetal 8mm jumpring through the top two gold 8mm twisted jumprings and down through the previous two gold 8mm twisted jumprings then close.
Repeat to attach a second gunmetal 8mm jumpring to the top two gold 8mm twisted jumprings and the previous two gold 8mm twisted jumprings on the opposite side of the bracelet. (This completes the second row.)
Continue to repeat Steps 3 and 4 continuing the full Persian chainmaille pattern to the desired length.
Once the pattern is the desired length, spread the last two gold 8mm twisted jumprings and pass one last gold 8mm twisted jumpring through the previous two gunmetal 8mm jumprings and the loop on one fold-over clasp then close.
Attach one gunmetal 8mm jumpring through the first two gold 8mm twisted jumprings on the opposite end of the bracelet.
Tip: Continue the chainmaille an inch longer than the desired length. Detach that extra inch and keep it as a starter to easily begin future projects.
