Instructions
Dip the jaws of a pair of chain-nose pliers in Tool Magic® and let them dry overnight.
Cut one 17-1/2 inch length of Gossamer™ 14Kt gold-filled 1mm triple rope chain.
Cut two 3-inch lengths of 26-gauge 12Kt gold-filled dead-soft round wire.
Cut one 1/2 inch length of 24-gauge 12Kt gold-filled half-hard round wire.
Make a tiny wire-wrapped loop at the end of one of the 3-inch lengths of 26-gauge 12Kt gold-filled dead-soft round wire. Add the last link from one end of the 17-1/2 inch Gossamer™ 14Kt gold-filled 1mm triple rope chain before wrapping the loop. Cut off the excess wire and snugly tuck in the tail.
Make a small wrapped loop 1.5mm from the last wrap of the first wrapped loop, adding the lobster claw clasp before wrapping the loop. Wrap the tail in the opposite direction as the first wrapped loop so the tails will meet when cut. Cut off the excess and snugly tuck in the tail.
Thread a 14Kt gold-filled 26x2mm curved square tube bead onto the loose end of the chain.
Repeat Step 4 for the opposite end of the chain, substituting a 4mm 20-gauge gold-filled jump ring for the clasp.
Make a triangle ice-pick bail by finding the center of a 1/2 inch length of 12Kt gold-filled half-hard round 24-gauge wire and making a 135-degree bend (a deep “V”) in the middle, using the tip of fine chain-nose pliers. Straighten the sides. Even it out if one side is longer.
Using the tip of fine chain-nose pliers, bend one tip in toward the center, then repeat with the opposite side so you end up with an isosceles triangle for a bail. Trim the ends to 2mm each.
Add the loop on the square tube bead into the triangle bail just made. Slip one side of the hole of a 12x6mm garnet briolette bead onto one side of the triangle bail, then use pliers to slip the opposite side into the opposite end of the hole. Squeeze the sides of the bail together very firmly with dipped chain-nose pliers so it is well seated.
Cut one 7-inch length of Gossamer™ 14Kt gold-filled 1mm triple rope chain.
Cut one 10-inch length of Accu-Flex® 24Kt gold-plated 49-strand 0.014-inch diameter beading wire.
Crimp the end of the 10-inch length of Accu-Flex beading wire, using a 2mm 12Kt gold-filled smooth crimp tube, a 14Kt gold-filled Accu-Guard™ 4mm tube wire protector and a 3mm 12Kt gold-filled crimp cover.
String eighty 2-2.5mm garnet faceted cube beads onto the beading wire.
Crimp the other end as you did in Step 2.
Fully round out the end link of a 7-inch length of Gossamer™ 14Kt gold-filled 1mm triple rope chain by inserting the tip of a 2mm beading awl and pushing it up over it. Use your fingernails or the tip of chain-nose pliers to work the link down the awl. Do not try to push it beyond its limits or it may break. Repeat for the opposite end of the chain.
Open a 14Kt gold-filled 4mm 20-gauge round jump ring and add one end of the chain. Then add the loop of a 14Kt gold-filled 10x4mm lobster claw clasp and the Accu-Guard wire protector on one end of the garnet cube beaded length, then close the jump ring.
Open a second 14Kt gold-filled 4mm 20-gauge round jump ring. Add the opposite end of the chain and close the jump ring.
Open a third 14Kt gold-filled 4mm 20-gauge round jump ring. Add it to the jump ring you just secured to the end of the chain. Then add it to the Accu-Guard wire protector on the free end of the beaded length.
Cut two 1/2 inch lengths and one 7-inch length of Gossamer™ 14Kt gold-filled 1mm triple rope chain.
Cut two 1/2 inch lengths of 24-gauge 12Kt gold-filled half-hard round wire.

Use your fingernails or the tip of chain-nose pliers to work the link down the awl. Do not try to push it beyond its limits or it may break. Repeat for the opposite end of the chain.
Add a 14Kt gold-filled 4mm 20-gauge round jump ring to one end of the chain. Before you close it, add the loop of a clear cubic zirconia/14Kt gold-filled leverback ear wire. Then tightly close the jump ring, leaving no space between its ends.
Make a triangle ice-pick bail by finding the center of one of your 1/2-inch lengths of 12Kt gold-filled half-hard round 24-gauge wire and make a 135-degree (deep “V”) bend in the middle, using the tip of fine chain-nose pliers. Straighten the sides. Even it out if one side is longer.

Use pliers to slip the opposite side of the bail into the opposite end of the hole. Squeeze the sides of the bail together very firmly with dipped chain-nose pliers so it is well seated.
Repeat Steps 1 through 4 to create the second earring.
