- Pearl, Crystal Passions®, rouge, 4mm round (5810)
- Pearl, Crystal Passions®, pearlescent white, 4mm round (5810)
- Head pin, silver-plated brass, 2-1/2 inches, 21 gauge
- Bead, silver-plated steel, 4mm round
- Adhesive, GORILLA™ Glue, clear
- Ear wire, silver-plated brass, 17mm fishhook with 2mm ball and open loop, 22 gauge
- Bonding clips, steel and rubber, 2 inches with 1/2 inch grip
- Jump ring, silver-plated brass, 4mm round, 2.4mm inside diameter, 20 gauge
Instructions
Step 1
Add a jump ring and an ear wire to another jump ring.
Step 2
Thread a metal bead and seven pearls (alternating colors) onto a head pin.
Step 3
Thread the ear wire assembly and three more alternating pearls onto the head pin.
Step 4
Push all beads firmly down on the head pin. Bend into a candy cane shape with the ear wire at the top.
Step 5
Add a drop of glue to the head pin above the last pearl. Thread a metal bead onto the head pin then clamp tight. Use rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab to remove visible glue. Set aside for 24 hours.
Step 6
Snip off the tail of the head pin flush with the metal bead.
Step 7
Repeat Steps 1 - 6 to create a second earring.
