Bead, amethyst (natural), 10mm T-drilled round and 9x7mm cone, C grade, Mohs hardness 7
Bead, antique copper-plated copper, 10mm round with circle and line pattern
Bead, amethyst (natural), 7mm hand-cut round, C grade, Mohs hardness 7
Bead, amethyst (natural), 10mm round, B grade, Mohs hardness 7
Adhesive, epoxy, Devcon® 2 Ton® Clear Epoxy, 30-minute, 2-part
Bead, flower amethyst (natural), 10mm round, C grade, Mohs hardness 7
Cord, Powercord®, elastic, black, 0.8mm, 8.5-pound test
Bead and bead cap mix, antiqued copper, 5x1mm-18x10mm mixed shape

Instructions

Step 1

Cut a 12-inch length of Powercord®.

Step 2

Place a Bead Stopper™ on one end of the Powercord, leaving approximately a 1-1/2 inch tail.

String one amethyst cone onto the Powercord then pass the needle through the bottom hole and out one side of the center hole on one amethyst T-drilled round.

Step 3

String onto the Powercord:

Three sets of:

One copper beaded rondelle
One copper 10mm round
One copper beaded rondelle
One flower amethyst 10mm round
One copper beaded rondelle

One copper 10mm round
One copper beaded rondelle
One amethyst 10mm round

One copper beaded rondelle
One copper 10mm round
One copper beaded rondelle
One flower amethyst 10mm round

Step 4

Pass the working end of the Powercord through the opposite hole of the amethyst T-drilled round, out through the bottom hole then back through the amethyst cone.

Step 5

Mix Devcon® 5-Minute™ Epoxy according to manufacturer's instructions.

Pull the ends of the Powercord so the beads are snug then tie a series of overhand knots. Use a toothpick to apply epoxy to the knots then pull the cone over the knots to conceal them.

Step 6

String one amethyst 7mm round onto one end of Powercord. Tie two overhand knots, leaving about a 1/4 inch gap from the cone then apply epoxy to the knots and bead to hold it in place.

Repeat with the other end of Powercord. Trim excess cord then set aside to cure.
