- Bead, black onyx (dyed), 8mm round, A- grade, Mohs hardness 6-1/2 to 7
- Bead, brecciated jasper (natural), 6mm round, C grade, Mohs hardness 6-1/2 to 7
- Bead, Preciosa Czech crystal, Siam, 3mm faceted bicone
- Bead, sterling silver, 4x1mm smooth straight tube
- Beading wire, Accu-Flex®, nylon and stainless steel, pearl, 49 strand, 0.019-inch diameter
- Crimp cover, sterling silver-filled, 3x2.3mm round
- Crimp, sterling silver, 2mm cut tube, 1.4mm inside diameter
- Focal, sterling silver, 39x21mm single-sided crucifix
- Jump ring, sterling silver, 14mm soldered round, 12mm inside diameter, 12 gauge
- Wire protector, Accu-Guard™, sterling silver-filled, 4.5mm tube with 0.5mm inside diameter
Instructions
Step 1
Cut one 10-inch and one 30-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire.
Step 2
String onto the 10-inch length of beading wire: one crimp, one 14mm soldered jump ring and Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp, then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a crimp cover.
Step 3
Continue to string the following:
- Six 4x1mm smooth straight tubes
- One 3mm bicone
- One 8mm round
- One 3mm bicone
- Two 4x1mm smooth straight tubes
- Three sets of:
- One 3mm bicone
- One 6mm round
- One 3mm bicone
- Two 4x1mm smooth straight tubes
- One 3mm bicone
- One 8mm round
- Six 4x1mm smooth straight tubes
Repeat Step 2 to complete the 10-inch strand, using the same 14mm soldered jump ring from Step 2.
Step 4
Repeat Step 2 using the 30-inch length of beading wire and the 14mm soldered jump ring from Step 2.
Continue to string the following:
- Four sets of:
- Six 4x1mm smooth straight tubes
- Ten sets of:
- One 3mm bicone
- One 6mm round
- One 3mm bicone
- Six 4x1mm smooth straight tubes
- One 3mm bicone
- One 8mm round
- One 3mm bicone
- Six 4x1mm smooth straight tubes
- Ten sets of:
- One 3mm bicone
- One 6mm round
- Six 4x1mm smooth straight tubes
Repeat Step 2 to complete the 30-inch strand, using 3mm closed jump ring already attached to the focal to complete the rosary.
