- Bead, amethyst (natural), small chip, Mohs hardness 7
- Bead, antique silver-plated "pewter" (zinc-based alloy), 4x1mm beaded rondelle
- Bead, antique silver-plated brass, 2mm round
- Bead, silver-finished steel, 6x1mm heishi
- Beading wire, Accu-Flex®, nylon and stainless steel, clear, 49 strand, 0.019-inch diameter
- Clasp, JBB Findings, toggle, antique silver-plated pewter (tin-based alloy), 22x20mm single-sided round leaf
- Crimp cover, antique silver-plated brass, 4mm
- Crimp, sterling silver, 2mm cut tube, 1.4mm inside diameter
- Ear wire, silver-plated brass, 16mm leverback with 7x2mm shield and open loop
- Eye pin, antique silver-plated brass, 2-1/2 inches, 21 gauge
- Focal, amethyst (natural) and silver-plated brass, 37x13mm-41x16mm hand-cut faceted hexagon point, Mohs hardness 7
- Focal, antique silver-finished "pewter" (zinc-based alloy), 33x15.5mm double-sided with closed loop
- Head pin, stainless steel, 1-1/2 inches with 2mm ball, 24 gauge
- Jump ring, antique silver-plated brass, 4mm round, 2.4mm inside diameter, 20 gauge
- Wire protector, Accu-Guard™, stainless steel, 6mm tube
Instructions
Necklace Instructions
Step 1
Cut two 11-inch lengths of Accu-Flex® professional quality beading wire.
Step 2
String a crimp and an Accu-Guard™ wire protector onto one length of beading wire. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp then add a crimp cover.
Step 3
String the following onto the beading wire:
- Five 2mm round beads
- Three 6x1mm smooth heishi beads
- Five 2mm round beads
- One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
- Five amethyst chips
- One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
- Three 2mm round beads
- Three 6x1mm smooth heishi beads
- Three 2mm round beads
- One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
- Five amethyst chips
- One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
- One 2mm round bead
- Three 6x1mm smooth heishi beads
- One 2mm round bead
- One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
- Five amethyst chips
- One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
- Three 2mm round beads
- Three 6x1mm smooth heishi beads
- Three 2mm round beads
- One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
- Five amethyst chips
- One 4x1mm beaded rondelle

Step 4
String a crimp and an Accu-Guard wire protector onto the beading wire. Pass the beading wire and Accu-Guard through one end of the 33x15.5mm focal. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp then add a crimp cover. Trim excess wire.
Step 5
Repeat Steps 2 - 4 using the second length of beading wire.
Step 6
Pass the following onto a head pin:
- One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
- Three amethyst chips
- One 2mm round bead
Then form a simple loop. Repeat to create a second drop.
Step 7
Attach the drops created in Step 6 to the 33x15.5mm focal underneath the beaded strands, as seen in the image above.
Attach the amethyst focal to the center loop of the 33x15.5mm focal.
Step 8
Open a jump ring. Slide on the end of a beaded strand and one half of a toggle clasp. Close the jump ring. Repeat on the other end of the necklace.
Earring Instructions
Step 1
Pass the following onto a head pin:
- One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
- Three amethyst chips
- One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
- One 2mm round bead
Form a simple loop.
Step 2
Pass the following onto an eye pin:
- One 2mm round bead
- Three 6x1mm smooth heishi beads
- One 2mm round bead
- One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
- Five amethyst chips
- One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
- One 2mm round bead
Form a simple loop.
Step 3
Connect the head pin to the eye pin then connect an ear wire.
Repeat to create a second earring.
