- Jump ring, silver-plated brass, 6.5x5mm oval, 4.6x3mm inside diameter, 18 gauge
- Jump ring, silver-plated brass, 6x4mm oval, 4.1x2mm inside diameter, 18 gauge
- Spacer bar, Egyptian glass rhinestone and imitation rhodium-plated pewter (tin-based alloy), clear AB, 12x4mm 2-strand rectangle, fits up to 3.5mm bead
- Wire protector, Accu-Guard™, stainless steel, 6mm tube
- Adhesive, epoxy, Devcon® 2 Ton® Clear Epoxy, 30-minute, 2-part
Instructions
Bracelet Instructions
Step 1
Cut a 24-inch length of Powercord®.
Step 2
String the following onto the cord:
- One 2.5mm silver-plated brass bead
- One 6mm matte pink bead
- One 2.5mm silver-plated brass bead
- One 6mm matte pink bead
- One 2.5mm silver-plated brass bead
- One side of a spacer bar
- Three bicones
String on one side of an Accu-Guard™ wire protector, pull the cord flat against the Accu-Guard and pass through the other side. Continue stringing the following:
- Three bicones
- The other side of the spacer bar
- One 2.5mm silver-plated brass bead
- One 6mm matte pink bead
- One 2.5mm silver-plated brass bead
- One 6mm matte pink bead
- One 2.5mm silver-plated brass bead
- One 8mm matte clear bead
- One heishi bead
- One 8mm matte pink bead
Continue stringing beads in this style, alternating glass beads with metal heishi and 2.5mm beads until the second spacer bar and Accu-Guards have been strung and the desired length has been achieved.
Tie a small knot in the cord to secure the beads then trim any excess.
Step 3
Use a small amount of Devcon® 2 Ton® epoxy to attach two glue-on bails to the back of the resin flower component.
Step 4
Use 6.5x5mm oval jump rings to attach the Accu-Guards on each end of the strand of beads to the bails that were glued onto the resin flower component in Step 3.
Earring Instructions
Step 1
Cut a 3-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional quality beading wire.
Step 2
String a flower bud focal half-way onto the length of wire. Fold the wire up along the flower bud focal and tie a knot. Clamp on a bead tip to secure.
Step 3
Open an ear wire and string on a 6mm matte pink bead, a 6mm matte clear bead, a 6mm matte pink bead, a 6mm matte clear bead and a 6mm matte pink bead. Close the ear wire.
Use an oval jump ring to attach the flower bud focal to the ear wire.
Step 4
Repeat to create a second earring.
