Instructions
Use a brush to apply Swellegant!™ dye-oxide to the flower cabochon and a palm tree charm. Let dry approximately 15 minutes then apply two or three more coats. Let dry then apply a thin coating and while the thin layer is still moist apply a layer of PermaLac®NT top coat. Allow to dry.
Apply a small dab of Devcon® adhesive to the textured side of a bail and attach to the back of the flower cabochon. Allow to dry. Set aside the palm tree charm.
Slide a 4mm dark lapis pearl onto an eye pin. Pass the eye pin through the bail and a second 4mm dark lapis pearl then form a simple loop.
Open a 4mm jump ring. Pass the jump ring through one loop of the eye pin then close. Use a second 4mm jump ring to attach the first jump ring to a spacer bar. Repeat on the other side of the eye pin.
Cut a 16-inch length of Silkon® thread. Pass through a needle.
Pass one end of the thread through the bottom of a bead tip then through a crimp. Fold the thread over and pass back through the crimp then through the bottom of the bead tip. Position the crimp so it Is just under the fold then use pliers to crimp. Use pliers to gently close the bead tip so that the crimp stays inside.
String the following onto the thread:
String on one 10mm red coral pearl then repeat Step 6 in the opposite direction
Repeat Step 5 to secure the strand. Trim any excess thread
Cut two 7-1/2 inch lengths of chain.
Use 5mm jump rings to attach one end of each lengths of chain to each of the bead tips.
On one end of chain, use a 5mm jump ring to attach one half of a toggle clasp. Repeat with the other length of chain.
Use 5mm jump rings to create a 4-link chain. Use the 4-link chain to attach the palm tree charm to one half of a toggle clasp.
Pass a head pin through the bottom of a bead cap, an 8mm red coral pearl and the top of a bead cap. Create a wrapped loop. Repeat to create a second drop.
Attach one drop to each of the hoop earrings.
