- Bead, amethyst (natural), shaded, 3.5-4mm hand-cut faceted round, B+ grade, Mohs hardness 7
- Bead, turquoise (dyed / stabilized), 6x6mm flat teardrop, B grade, Mohs hardness 5 to 6
- Beading wire, Accu-Flex®, nylon and stainless steel, pearl, 49 strand, 0.014-inch diameter
- Clasp, toggle, antiqued sterling silver, 15mm smooth round
- Crimp cover, sterling silver, 4mm
- Crimp, sterling silver, 2mm cut tube, 1.4mm inside diameter
- Ear wire, "turquoise" (resin) (imitation) and sterling silver, 22mm fishhook with 7.5mm hand-cut faceted round and closed loop, 19 gauge
- Eye pin, sterling silver, 2 inches, 21 gauge
- Jump ring, sterling silver, 4mm round, 2.4mm inside diameter, 20 gauge
- Jump ring, sterling silver, 7.5mm triangle, 5.2mm inside diameter, 20 gauge
- Wire protector, Accu-Guard™, sterling silver-filled, 4.5mm tube with 0.5mm inside diameter
Instructions
Necklace Instructions
Step 1
Cut a 20-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional quality beading wire.
Step 2
String a crimp and an Accu-Guard™ wire protector onto the beading wire. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp then add a crimp cover.
Step 3
String a set of five amethyst beads and one turquoise bead. Repeat this pattern a total of 19 times then add another set of amethyst beads.
Step 4
Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.
Step 5
Open a round jump ring. Slide on one end of the strand and one half of a clasp then close the jump ring. Attach a second jump ring. Repeat on the other end of the strand to complete the necklace.
Earring Instructions
Step 1
String five amethyst beads onto an eye pin then form a simple loop.
Step 2
Attach a turquoise bead onto a triangle jump ring.
Step 3
Attach the jump ring from Step 2 and an ear wire to each end of the eye pin.
Repeat to create a second earring.
