Instructions
Cut a 2-foot length of 28-gauge wire.
Close a beading hoop, then crimp with chain-nose or flat-nose pliers to secure.
Tightly wrap one end of the 28-gauge wire around the beading hoop twice, next to the closure.
Bring the wire to the outside of the hoop. Bend the wire to cross the outside of the hoop at approximately a 45-degree angle.
String a 4x2mm rondelle onto the wire.
Repeat Step 3, adding a 4mm round in place of the rondelle.
Repeat Steps 3 and 4 five more times.
Tightly wrap the wire around the hoop six times.
Bring the wire to the outside of the hoop. String a flower bead and a 4mm round. Pass the wire back through the flower bead. Pull the wire gently to bring the stacked beads snug against the hoop then tightly wrap the wire around the hoop six times.
Bring the wire to the outside of the hoop and bend. String a 6mm round then wrap twice.
Bring the wire to the inside of the hoop and bend. String a 6mm round then wrap twice.
Bring the wire to the outside of the hoop. String a flower bead and a 4mm round. Pass the wire back through the flower bead. Pull the wire gently to bring the stacked beads snug against the hoop then tightly wrap the wire once.
Bring the wire to the inside of the hoop and bend. String a rondelle then wrap twice.
Bring the wire to the inside of the hoop. String a flower bead and a 4mm round. Pass the wire back through the flower bead. Pull the wire gently to bring the stacked beads snug against the hoop.
Bring the wire to the outside of the hoop. String a 8x6mm teardrop and a butterfly bead. Pass the wire back through the teardrop. Pull the wire gently to bring the stacked beads snug against the hoop then wrap twice.
Repeat Steps 3 - 11 in reverse to complete second half of the wire-wrapped hoop. Trim any excess wire.
Cut a 20-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire.
String a crimp bead, an Accu-guard™ wire protector, and one half of the clasp. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp bead. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests approximately 1mm from the Accu-Guard, leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Trim any excess wire from the short end and finish with a crimp cover.
String one rondelle, three 4mm rounds, one rondelle and one crimp.
Hold the strung beads snug against the crimp cover then flatten the crimp to secure the beads in place.
String a crimp to approximately 1 inch from the first group of beads and flatten.
String the following:
Hold the strung beads snug against the previous crimp then flatten the second crimp to secure the beads in place.
Continue to use the intermittent stringing technique to add the following bead groups, with approximately one inch of space between each.
Repeat Steps 15 - 18 in reverse to complete the beaded strand.
Use a jump ring to attach the wire-wrapped pendant to the visible beading wire at the center of the beaded strand.
