- Beading wire, Accu-Flex®, nylon and stainless steel, clear, 49 strand, 0.019-inch diameter
- Clasp, magnetic barrel, silver-plated steel, 12x6mm round tube with 1mm inside diameter
- Crimp, gunmetal-plated brass, 2.5x1.5mm corrugated round, 1.2mm inside diameter
- Drop, Crystal Passions®, crystal Bermuda blue P, 19x11mm faceted galactic vertical pendant (6656)
- Drop, Crystal Passions®, crystal Bermuda blue P, 27x16mm faceted galactic vertical pendant (6656)
- Ear wire, stainless steel, 13mm flat fishhook with 2.5mm ball and open loop, 21 gauge
- Jump ring, stainless steel, 12mm round square wire, 10mm inside diameter, 18 gauge
Instructions
Necklace Instructions
Step 1
Cut a 22-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire.
Step 2
String a crimp onto the beading wire, bringing it approximately 6mm from the end. Crimp then trim the excess wire on the short end.
Step 3
String one half of a magnetic clasp and a crimp, gently pulling the crimp at the end of the wire into the barrel.
Bring the new crimp snugly against the clasp then flatten with chain-nose pliers.
Step 4
String a crimp, position approximately 2 inches from the previous crimp then flatten with chain-nose pliers.
String a 4mm pave ball and a crimp snugly against the previous crimp then flatten the new crimp with chain-nose pliers.
Repeat this technique to add a total of six 4mm pave balls along the beading wire.
Step 5
String one crimp, the second half of the clasp and another crimp. Bring the wire back through the clasp and the first crimp, pulling the second crimp into the barrel of the clasp.
Bring the first crimp snugly against the clasp then flatten with chain nose pliers.
Step 6
Use a 12mm jump ring to add a 27mm galactic pendant to the center of the beading wire.
Earring Instructions
Add a 12mm jump ring to a 19mm galactic pendant. Use a second jump ring to connect the first jump ring and the loop of an ear wire.
Repeat to complete a second earring.
