- Pliers, crimping, steel and plastic, black and blue, 5-1/4 inches
- Pearl, cultured freshwater (dyed) and crystals, lilac bronze and crystal clear, 9-10mm rice, C grade, Mohs hardness 2-1/2 to 4
- Pearl, cultured freshwater (dyed), satin sand, 1.5-2mm seed, C- grade, Mohs hardness 2-1/2 to 4
- Thread, Berkley® FireLine®, gel-spun polyethylene, crystal, 0.08mm diameter, 2-pound test
- Chain, antique copper-plated brass, 2.5mm curb, 36 inches with hook clasp
- Jump ring, clear-coated copper, 5x4.5mm oval, 3.8x3.2mm inside diameter, 22 gauge
- Clasp, magnetic, crystal and rhodium-plated pewter (tin-based alloy), clear, 10mm textured round
- Ear wire, antique copper-plated copper, 18.5mm fishhook with 5x4mm teardrop and open loop, 20 gauge
- Bead cap, silver-plated brass, 6x2mm scalloped round, fits 6-8mm bead
- Jump ring, silver-plated brass, 6mm soldered round, 4.2mm inside diameter, 18 gauge
- Head pin, antique silver-plated brass, 2 inches with 4mm round head, 22 gauge
- Crimp, silver-plated brass, 1.1x1mm micro cut seamless tube, 0.7mm inside diameter
Instructions
Necklace Instructions
Step 1
Cut a 26-inch length of Accu-Flex professional-quality beading wire and two 3 1/2 inch lengths of chain.
Step 2
String and center an Accu-Guard wire guardian onto the beading wire. String one crimp onto both ends of the beading wire, bring it directly next to the wire guardian then flatten with chain-nose pliers.
Step 3
On one end of the beading wire, string approximately 3 inches of seed pearls. Repeat to add the same length of seed pearls to the other end of the beading wire.
Step 4
Treating both beading wires as one, string the following ten times:
- One 2mm crystal round
- One crystal-inlaid pearl
Step 5
Using both beading wires as one, string one additional 2mm round.
Step 6
Repeat Step 3.
Step 7
Using both beading wires as one, string a crimp.
Pass the beading wires through a wire guardian in opposite directions then back through the crimp bead. Pull so the crimp rests snugly between the wire guardian and the seed pearls then flatten. Trim any excess wire.
Step 8
Connect the following:
- One end of the pearl strand
- One 6mm jump ring
- The S half of a clasp
- The ring half of a clasp
- One length of chain
- One half of a magnetic clasp
Repeat to complete the opposite end of the necklace.
Earring Instructions
Step 1
Cut two 5-inch lengths of chain.
Step 2
String the following onto a head pin then create a simple loop:
- One bead cap
- One crystal-inlaid pearl
- Two bead caps
- One crystal-inlaid pearl
- One bead cap
Repeat to create a second large drop.
Step 3
String the following onto a head pin then create a simple loop:
- One bead cap
- One crystal-inlaid pearl
- One bead cap
Repeat to create a second small drop.
Step 4
Attach one large drop to the first link of a length of chain. Attach one small drop to the opposite end of the chain.
Repeat to embellish the second length of chain.
Step 5
Use an oval jump ring to attach the chain to the loop of an ear wire, approximately 2 inches from one end.
Repeat to complete the second earring.
