Cut one 8-foot length of C-Lon® thread.
Fold the length of thread in half. Pass the folded end through the button then bring both tails through the loop of the cord, forming a lark's head knot. Pull tight.
Tie four consecutive overhand knots to secure the thread. Separate the two ends of thread.
Using one #5 triangle, take one end of the thread and pass it through the #5 triangle from one side then take the other end of thread and pass it through the #5 triangle from the other side. The two ends of thread should be exiting the #5 triangle in opposite directions.
Using another #5 triangle, take the thread exiting the right side of the first triangle and pass it through the second from right to left. Take the other end of thread that is exiting the first triangle from the left side and pass it through the second triangle from left to right.
Repeat Step 5 until a total of 87 triangles are strung, or until the desired length is reached.
Note: The bracelet used in this design is meant to be wrapped twice around the wrist then buttoned. Please add or remove seed beads from the design to account for the size of your wrist.
Tie an overhand knot to secure the last #5 triangle then continue to tie consecutive overhand knots until approximately 3/4 inch of knots are added. Leave approximately a 3/4 inch gap between the two ends of thread then tie another overhand knot using both ends. This creates the loop for the button.
String three triangles onto one end of the thread then tie two overhand knots approximately 1 inch from the previous knot. Add a dab of E6000® Fray Lock™ to the knots then trim excess thread.
Repeat with the other end of thread to finish the bracelet.
Set aside to cure.
