- Clasp, 4-strand slide lock, silver-plated brass, 26x7mm corrugated rectangle tube
- Bead, DiamonDuo™, Czech pressed glass, opaque matte silver, 8x5mm faceted diamond with flat back and (2) 0.7-0.8mm holes
- Bead, DiamonDuo™, Czech pressed glass, opaque alabaster pastel blue zircon, 8x5mm faceted diamond with flat back and (2) 0.7-0.8mm holes
- Bead, Crystal Passions®, jet, 4mm bicone (5328)
- Thread, Berkley® FireLine®, gel-spun polyethylene, crystal, 0.13mm diameter 4-fiber braid, 4-pound test
Instructions
Step 1
Cut a length of FireLine® thread that is slightly less than two arm lengths and add a beading needle to each end.
Step 2
Pick up the following:
- One silver DiamonDuo
- One jet bicone
- One blue zircon DiamonDuo
- One jet bicone
- One blue zircon
- One jet bicone
- One silver DiamonDuo
Center the beads on the thread. These beads will be Row 1 (bicones) and 2 (DiamonDuos).
Step 3
Pass one needle through the following:
- Second hole of the silver bead in Row 2
- First hole of a blue zircon bead
- Second hole of the next bead in Row 2
- First hole of a blue zircon bead
- Second hole of the next bead in Row 2
- First hole of a blue zircon bead
- Second hole of the next bead in Row 2
Pass the second needle through the same beads in the opposite direction.
Step 4
Pick up one jet bicone with each needle.
Step 5
Continue to use the 2-needle ladder stitch technique to add the following rows four more times, picking up jet bicones between each.
- One silver, two blue zircon, one silver
- Three blue zircon
Continue by adding the following:
- Bicones
- Row 12: one silver, two blue zircon, one silver
- Row 13: one silver, one blue zircon, one silver
- Row 14: two silver
- Row 15: one silver
- Bicones
- Row 16: two silver
- Row 17: one silver, one blue zircon, one silver
- Row 18: one silver, two blue zircon, one silver
Step 6
Repeat Rows 1 – 17 in reverse to complete the second half of the pattern, exiting both needles from the outer bicones of the last row.
Step 7
Pass one needle through the following:
- The first loop of a 4-strand clasp
- The next DiamonDuo of the last row
- The next loop of the clasp
- The previous DiamonDuo passed through
- The next bicone
Repeat this process to attach the end of the bracelet to all four loops of the clasp.
Repeat with the second needle in the opposite direction.
Step 8
Pass both needles through various beads to move to the opposite end of the bracelet.
Repeat Step 7 to secure the second half of the clasp. Tie small knots to secure then trim excess thread.
