- Bead, Preciosa Czech crystal, crystal Labrador, 4mm faceted bicone
- Spacer, glass rhinestone and silver-plated "pewter" (zinc-based alloy), clear, 32.5x7.5mm 5-strand, fits up to 4mm bead
- Bead, Preciosa Candy™, Czech pressed glass, opaque brown pastel pearl, 8mm candy with (2) 0.8-0.9mm holes
- Bead, Preciosa Candy™, Czech pressed glass, opaque teal pastel pearl, 8mm candy with (2) 0.8-0.9mm holes
- Bead, Preciosa Candy™, Czech pressed glass, opaque white pastel pearl, 8mm candy with (2) 0.8-0.9mm holes
- Bead, Preciosa Candy™, Czech pressed glass, opaque satin silver, 8mm candy with (2) 0.8-0.9mm holes
- Bead, Preciosa Candy™, Czech pressed glass, opaque turquoise, 8mm candy with (2) 0.8-0.9mm holes
- Ear wire, silver-plated brass, 17mm fancy fishhook with closed loop, 20 gauge
- Bead tip, silver-plated brass, 6.5x3.5mm bottom clamp-on with closed loop
- Jump ring, silver-plated brass, 4mm round, 2.6mm inside diameter, 22 gauge
- Crimp cover, silver-plated brass, 4mm round
- Clasp, 3-strand hook, silver-plated brass, 23x15mm
- Cord, Powercord®, elastic, clear, 0.8mm, 8.5 pound test
Instructions
Bracelet Instructions
Step 1
Cut five 14-inch lengths of 0.8mm Powercord®.
Step 2
Line two lengths of cord up at the ends then string on one bead tip. Tie an overhand knot near the ends of the cords. Trim any excess cord then clamp the bead tip over the knot.
Step 3
Close a crimp cover over one of the elastic cords used in the previous step, directly next to the bead tip. Repeat to add a crimp cover to the second cord.
Step 4
String the following onto the first elastic cord:
- The first hole of a spacer bar
- Seven 4mm bicones
- The first hole of one brown candy
- Two bicones
- The first hole of one turquoise candy
- Two bicones
- The first hole of one white candy
- Two bicones
- The first hole of one teal candy
- Two bicones
String the first hole of a silver candy.
String the previous sequence in reverse to mirror the first half of the strand, ending with only one bicone before the spacer bar. Temporarily secure the strand.
Step 5
String the following onto the second elastic cord:
- The second hole of the spacer bar
- Five bicones
- The first hole of one brown candy
- The second hole of the next candy of the previous strand
- The first hole of a turquoise candy
- The second hole of the next candy of the previous strand
- The first hole of one white candy
- The second hole of the next candy of the previous strand
- The first hole of one teal candy
- The second hole of the next candy of the previous strand
String the first hole of a silver candy. String the previous sequence in reverse to mirror the first half of the strand, ending with only one bicone before the spacer bar. Temporarily secure the strand.
Step 6
Close a crimp cover over each cord, directly next to the spacer bar.
Using both cords, string a bead tip. Tie an overhand knot then clamp the bead tip over it. Trim any excess cord.
Step 7
String a bead tip onto a third length of elastic cord. Tie an overhand knot near the end of the cord then clamp the bead tip over it. Trim any excess cord.
Close a crimp cover over the cord, directly next to the crimp cover.
Step 8
String the third hole of the spacer bar and three bicones onto the cord. Continue by repeating the sequence used in Step 5, ending with three bicones before the spacer bar.
Step 9
Close a crimp cover over the cord, directly next to the spacer bar.
String a bead tip. Tie an overhand knot then clamp the bead tip over it. Trim any excess cord.
Step 10
Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to prepare the last two lengths of cord.
Step 11
String the fourth hole of the spacer bar and one bicone on one length of the prepared cord. Continue by repeating the sequence used in Step 5, ending with five bicones before the spacer bar. Temporarily secure the cord.
Step 12
String the fifth hole of the spacer bar and one bicone.
String the second hole of the next candy of the previous hole and two bicones. Repeat seven more times.
String the second hole of the next candy of the previous hole, seven bicones and the fifth hole of the second spacer bar.
Step 13
Close a crimp cover over each cord, directly next to the spacer bar.
Using both cords, string a bead tip. Tie an overhand knot then clamp the bead tip over it. Trim any excess cord.
Step 14
Use 4mm jump rings to attach the bead tip loops to the loops of a 3-strand clasp.
Earring Instructions
Step 1
Cut two 12-inch lengths of 0.8mm Powercord.
Step 2
String the following onto one length of cord:
- The first hole of one brown candy
- One 4mm bicone
- The first hole of one turquoise candy
- One bicone
- The first hole of one white candy
- One bicone
- The first hole of one teal candy
- One bicone
- The first hole of one silver candy
Pass back through the silver candy, using the second hole. Repeat the previous sequence in reverse, using the second hole of each candy bead.
Step 3
Close a crimp cover over both ends of the cord, directly next to the brown candy bead.
Step 4
Using both ends of the cord, string a bead tip then tie an over hand knot. Close the bead top over the knot.
Step 5
Use a 4mm jump ring to attach an ear wire to the loop of the bead tip.
