- Jump ring, sterling silver, 4mm round square wire, 2.7mm inside diameter, 22 gauge
- Wire protector, Accu-Guard™, sterling silver-filled, 4.5mm tube with 0.5mm inside diameter
- Crimp, sterling silver, 2mm cut tube with heavy wall, 1.2mm inside diameter
- Crimp cover, sterling silver, 4mm
- Clasp, toggle, sterling silver, 13mm twisted
- Bead, antiqued Rajasthani sterling silver, 4x2mm beaded rondelle
- Ear wire, sterling silver, 17mm perfect balance angular fishhook with 3mm coil and open loop, heavyweight, 20 gauge
- Bead, multi-tourmaline (natural), 6x5mm hand-cut oval, C grade, Mohs hardness 7 to 7-1/2
- Bead, antiqued sterling silver, 4x1mm beaded rondelle
- Bead, citrine (dyed / heated), 4x2mm-5x3mm hand-cut faceted button, C grade, Mohs hardness 7
- Bead, multi-tourmaline (natural), 4x1mm-6x2mm hand-cut rondelle, B grade, Mohs hardness 7 to 7-1/2
- Chain, sterling silver, 7mm textured figaro
- Beading wire, Accu-Flex®, nylon and stainless steel, clear, 49 strand, 0.014-inch diameter
Instructions
Necklace Instructions
Step 1
Cut the following lengths:
- One 30-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire
- Two 2-1/2 inch lengths of sterling silver chain (approximately 4 links)
Step 2
String onto the beading wire: one crimp and one Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a 4mm crimp cover.
Step 3
String onto the beading wire:
- Four sets of:
- One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
- One 4x2mm-6x2mm multi-tourmaline rondelle
- One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
- Three 6x5mm multi-tourmaline ovals
Repeat this sequence to string two sets.
Step 4
Continue to string onto the beading wire:
- Four sets of:
- One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
- One 4x2mm-6x2mm multi-tourmaline rondelle
- One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
- Five 4x2mm-5x3mm citrine buttons
- Three 4x2mm beaded rondelles
- Five 4x2mm-5x3mm citrine buttons
Step 5
Repeat Step 3 then continue to string onto the beading wire:
- Two 4x2mm-5x3mm citrine buttons
- One 4x2mm beaded rondelle
- Two 4x2mm-5x3mm citrine buttons
- One 6x5mm multi-tourmaline oval
- Two 4x2mm-5x3mm citrine buttons
- One 4x2mm beaded rondelle
- Two 4x2mm-5x3mm citrine buttons
- Three 6x5mm multi-tourmaline ovals
Repeat this step a total of two times.
Step 6
Continue to string onto the beading wire:
- Four sets of:
- One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
- One 4x2mm-6x2mm multi-tourmaline rondelle
- Three 6x5mm multi-tourmaline ovals
Step 7
Repeat Steps 4 and 3 then continue to string the following onto the beading wire:
- Four sets of:
- One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
- One 4x2mm-6x2mm multi-tourmaline rondelle
- One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
Step 8
Use 4mm jump rings to attach the following end-to-end:
- One portion of the toggle clasp to a length of chain
- The length of chain to an Accu-Guard on the beaded strand
- The opposite Accu-Guard to the remaining length of chain
- The remaining end of the length of chain to the remaining portion of the toggle clasp
Earring Instructions
Step 1
Cut two 10-inch lengths of Accu-Flex professional-quality bead wire.
Step 2
String the following onto one length of beading wire:
- Four sets of:
- One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
- One 4x1mm-6x2mm multi-tourmaline rondelle
- One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
- Three 4x2mm-5x3mm citrine buttons
- One 4x2mm beaded rondelle
- Three 4x2mm-5x3mm citrine buttons
Step 3
Continue to string the following onto the length of beading wire:
- One 6x5mm multi-tourmaline oval
- Eight sets of:
- One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
- One 4x1mm-6x2mm multi-tourmaline rondelle
- One 4x1mm beaded rondelle
- One 6x5mm multi-tourmaline oval
Repeat Step 2 in reverse order then string one 2mm crimp bead onto both ends of the beading wire. Continue to string only one of the lengths of beading wire through an Accu-Guard wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp bead. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire. Crimp then trim excess wire from either strand. Finish with a 4mm crimp cover, creating a drop.
Repeat to create a second drop.
Step 4
Pass the Accu-Guard on one drop through the open loop on one ear wire to complete the first earring.
Repeat using the remaining drop and ear wire to create a second earring.
