Bail, ice-pick, antiqued brass, 6x2mm plain teardrop, 4mm grip length. Sold per pkg of 2.
Crimp cover, antique gold-plated brass, 4mm corrugated round
Crimp, antique gold-plated brass, 2mm round, 1.5mm inside diameter
Focal and drop, picture jasper (natural), (2) 20x13mm and (1) 31x20mm hand-cut teardrop, B grade, Mohs hardness 6-1/2 to 7
Cord, Powercord®, elastic, black, 1mm, 14-pound test
Bead, black onyx (dyed), 6mm round, A- grade, Mohs hardness 6-1/2 to 7
Adhesive, E6000® Jewelry and Craft Adhesive, clear
Jump ring, antique gold-plated brass, 4mm round, 2.6mm inside diameter, 22 gauge
Bead, picture jasper (natural), 8mm round, C grade, Mohs hardness 6-1/2 to 7

Instructions

Step 1

Cut a 12-inch length of 1mm black Powercord®.

Step 2

Add an ice pick bail to a 20x13mm picture jasper teardrop. Add a 4mm jump ring to the loop of the bail.

Step 3

String the following onto the cord:

Two 6mm black onyx rounds
Two 8mm picture jasper rounds
Three black onyx rounds
One picture jasper round
Three black onyx rounds
Two picture jasper rounds
One black onyx round

Step 4

Onto the cord, string the jump ring added to the bail, then repeat Step 3 in reverse.

Step 5

Tie a surgeon's knot, pulling tight, to close the bracelet. For added security, add a small amount of adhesive to the knot.

Step 6

Add a crimp cover to hide the knot, with the cord ends exiting different sides of the crimp cover.

Step 7

Trim each end of the excess cord to a length of approximately 2-1/2 inches.

Step 8

On one end of the excess cord, string a picture jasper round and a crimp. Crimp into place approximately 1/2 inch from the end of the cord, then trim.

Repeat on the other end of the cord to complete the bracelet.
