- Bead, Preciosa Czech crystal, aqua bohemica, 8mm faceted round
- Bead, Preciosa Czech crystal, aqua bohemica, 4mm faceted round
- Wire protector, Accu-Guard™, sterling silver, 5mm tube, 1.1mm inside diameter
- Crimp, silver-plated brass, 2x1.5mm round, 1.3mm inside diameter
- Clasp, 3-strand slide lock, sterling silver, 22x6mm tube
- Eye pin, sterling silver, 1-1/2 inch, 24 gauge
- Charm, sterling silver, 10mm snowflake
- Bead cap, sterling silver, 8.5mm flower, fits 8.5mm bead
- Ear wire, sterling silver, 18mm fishhook with 1.5mm ball and open loop, 18-20 gauge
- Crimp cover, silver-plated brass, 4mm round
- Jump ring, sterling silver, 4mm round, 2.6mm inside diameter, 22 gauge
- Beading wire, Accu-Flex®, nylon and stainless steel, clear, 49 strand, 0.019-inch diameter
- Charm, sterling silver, 16mm single-sided diamond-cut snowflake
Instructions
Necklace Instructions
Step 1
Cut three 11-inch and one 12-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire.
Using flush-cutters, cut the outer two loops on one half of the slide lock clasp off, leaving only the center loop.
Step 2
String onto the 12-inch length of beading wire: one crimp and one Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a crimp cover.
Step 3
String onto the beading wire:
- 13 sets of:
- One aqua bohemi 4mm round
- One 8.5mm flower bead cap
- One aqua bohemi 8mm round
- One 8.5mm flower bead cap
- One aqua bohemi 4mm round
- One 16mm snowflake charm
Step 4
String one crimp onto one 11-inch length of beading wire. Pass the beading wire around the 12-inch length. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the 12-inch length leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp then trim excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a crimp cover.
Step 5
Continue to string onto the 12-inch length of beading wire:
- Two sets of:
- One aqua bohemi 4mm round
- One aqua bohemi 8mm round
- One aqua bohemi 4mm round
- One 16mm snowflake charm
- One 11-inch length of beading wire (following the instruction in Step 4)
- One aqua bohemi 4mm round
- One aqua bohemi 8mm round
- One aqua bohemi 4mm round
- One crimp
- One 16mm snowflake charm
Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the charm leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a crimp cover.
Step 6
String 60 aqua bohemi 4mm rounds onto the top 11-inch length of beading wire then repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.
Repeat using 62 aqua bohemi rounds for each of the remaining two 11-inch lengths of beading wire.
Step 7
Pass one 4mm jump ring through the Accu-Guard on the 12-inch length of beading wire and the loop on the half of the slide lock clasp with only one loop.
Repeat to attach each end of the 11-inch strands to each loop of the opposite half of the clasp.
Earring Instructions
Step 1
String the following onto a 1-1/2 inch eye pin:
- One aqua bohemi 4mm round
- One 8.5mm flower bead cap
- One aqua bohemi 8mm round
- One 8.5mm flower bead cap
- One 8.5mm flower bead cap
- One aqua bohemi 8mm round
- One 8.5mm flower bead cap
- One aqua bohemi 4mm round
Form a simple loop. Repeat to create a second link.
Step 2
Pass one 4mm jump ring through one 10mm snowflake charm and one loop of the aqua bohemi link then close.
Attach one ear wire to the opposite loop on the link.
Step 3
Repeat Step 2 to create a second earring.
