Instructions
Cut the following:
Using the Beadalon® tassel maker, create a tassel component approximately 3-1/2 inches long using black Satinique cord. Tie off the end using orange Satinique cord, looping the orange cord approximately five times around the black tassel. Secure the orange cord using E6000® Fray Lock™.
Note: Instead of a jump ring, use the 32-inch length of Accu-Flex professional-quality beading wire in Step 21 of the tutorial to anchor the tassel.
Tip: View our ''How to Create Tassels Using the Beadalon® Tassel Maker'' how-to video and illustrated instructions for more information.
Center the tassel component on the length of beading wire, matching up the ends of the beading wire. String one crimp onto both ends of beading wire. Pull the beading wire taut so there is no flex between the crimp and the tassel. Crimp then finish with a crimp cover.
String onto both ends of the beading wire:
Separate the strands then string onto one length of beading wire:
String onto the length of beading wire: one crimp and one Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a crimp cover.
Pass one 4mm jump ring through the Accu-Guard and one half of the hook-and-eye clasp then close. Repeat to attach a second jump ring, creating double jump rings.
Repeat Steps 5 - 7 using the opposite length of beading wire.
Cut two 3-inch lengths of copper C-Lon® thread.
Wrap one length of thread approximately three times around one mini tassel, just below the base of the jump ring. Tie off the thread then finish with a dab of E6000 Fray Lock. Trim excess thread. Set aside to dry.
Repeat with the second mini tassel.
String one 25x24mm jack-o-lantern onto a 1-1/2 inch eye pin then form a simple loop. Repeat to create a second jack-o-lantern link.
String onto a 1-1/2 inch eye pin: One opaque black 4mm round, one 14x8mm rondelle and one opaque black 4mm round then form a simple loop. Repeat to create a second rondelle link.
Connect the following:
Repeat to create a second earring.
