- Crimp, sterling silver, 2mm cut tube with heavy wall, 1.2mm inside diameter
- Ear wire, antiqued sterling silver, 18mm fishhook with 3-bead design and open loop, 19 gauge
- Bead, turquoise (dyed / stabilized), 6x1mm-6x3mm hand-cut rondelle, B grade, Mohs hardness 5 to 6
- Bead, antiqued sterling silver, 7x1mm beaded rondelle
- Eye pin, sterling silver, 1 inch, 21 gauge
- Head pin, sterling silver, 1-1/2 inches with 2mm ball, 21 gauge
- Bead, sterling silver, 4x2mm liquid twisted tube
- Beading wire, Accu-Flex®, nylon and stainless steel, clear, 49 strand, 0.019-inch diameter
- Clasp, 3-strand hook, antiqued sterling silver, 18x16mm rectangle
- Jump ring, silver-plated brass, 4mm round, 2.4mm inside diameter, 20 gauge
- Bead, turquoise (dyed / stabilized), blue-green, small pebble, Mohs hardness 5 to 6
Instructions
Necklace Instructions
Step 1
Cut the following:
- Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire:
- One 26-inch length
- One 27-1/2 inch length
- One 29-inch length
- Six 1/2 inch lengths of French wire
First Strand
Step 2
String onto the 26-inch length of beading wire: one crimp and one length of French wire. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the French wire leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire.
Step 3
String onto the beading wire:
- 22 sterling silver 4x2mm twisted tubes
- One turquoise small pebble
- 18 sterling silver 4x2mm twisted tubes
- One turquoise small pebble
- 15 sterling silver 4x2mm twisted tubes
- One turquoise 6x3mm rondelle
- One antiqued sterling silver 7x1mm beaded rondelle
- One turquoise small pebble
- One antiqued sterling silver 7x1mm beaded rondelle
- One turquoise 6x3mm rondelle
- 15 sterling silver 4x2mm twisted tubes
- One turquoise 6x3mm rondelle
- One antiqued sterling silver 7x1mm beaded rondelle
Continue to string one turquoise small pebble, then repeat the above sequence in the opposite direction to string the second half of the strand.
Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.
Second Strand
Step 4
Repeat Step 2 using the 27-1/2 inch length of beading wire.
String onto the beading wire:
- 37 sterling silver 4x2mm twisted tubes
- One turquoise small pebble
- Two sets of:
- 15 sterling silver 4x2mm twisted tubes
- One turquoise 6x3mm rondelle
- One antiqued sterling silver 7x1mm beaded rondelle
- One turquoise small pebble
- One antiqued sterling silver 7x1mm beaded rondelle
- One turquoise 6x3mm rondelle
Continue to string 15 sterling silver 4x2mm twisted tubes onto the beading wire, then repeat the above sequence in the opposite direction.
Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.
Third Strand
Step 5
Repeat Step 2 using the 19-inch length of beading wire.
String onto the beading wire:
- 18 sterling silver 4x2mm twisted tubes
- Four sets of:
- One turquoise 6x3mm rondelle
- One antiqued sterling silver 7x1mm beaded rondelle
- One turquoise small pebble
- One antiqued sterling silver 7x1mm beaded rondelle
- One turquoise 6x3mm rondelle
- 13 sterling silver 4x2mm twisted tubes
- One turquoise 6x3mm rondelle
- One antiqued sterling silver 7x1mm beaded rondelle
Continue to string one turquoise small pebble, then repeat the above sequence in the opposite direction.
Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.
Necklace Assembly
Step 6
Pass one 4mm jumpring through the French wire on one end of the first strand and the top loop of one portion of the hook clasp then close. Repeat to attach the opposite end of the strand to the top loop of the second portion of the clasp.
Repeat to attach the second strand to the middle loops and the third strand to the bottom loops of the clasp.
Earring Instructions
Step 1
String onto one 1-1/2 inch headpin:
- Two sets of:
- One turquoise 6x3mm rondelle
- One antiqued sterling silver 7x1mm beaded rondelle
- One turquoise small pebble
Form a simple loop. Repeat to create a second drop.
Step 2
String one turquoise small pebble onto a 1-inch eyepin then form a simple loop. Repeat to create a second link.
Step 3
Connect one drop to one link and one earwire to the opposite end of the link.
Repeat to create a second earring.
