- Wire protector, Accu-Guard™, silver-plated brass, 4mm tube
- Pearl, Crystal Passions®, Bordeaux, 8mm round (5810)
- Pearl, Crystal Passions®, Bordeaux, 6mm round (5810)
- Pearl, Crystal Passions®, Bordeaux, 4mm round (5810)
- Pearl, Crystal Passions®, Bordeaux, 3mm round (5810)
- Link, sterling silver, 14x9mm open double heart
- Jump ring, silver-plated brass, 4mm round, 2.4mm inside diameter, 20 gauge
- Head pin, sterling silver, 1-1/4 inch with 1.5mm ball, 24 gauge
- Eye pin, sterling silver, 1 inch, 26 gauge
- Ear wire, sterling silver, 18mm fishhook with 1.5mm ball and open loop, 18-20 gauge
- Crimp, sterling silver, 2mm cut tube, 1.4mm inside diameter
- Clasp, toggle, antiqued sterling silver, 16x14mm with hearts
- Charm, sterling silver, 8.5x7mm single-sided open heart
- Charm, 14Kt gold-filled, 8.5x7mm single-sided open heart
- Beading wire, Accu-Flex®, nylon and stainless steel, clear, 49 strand, 0.019-inch diameter
- Bead cap, sterling silver, 8.5mm flower, fits 8.5mm bead
Instructions
Necklace Instructions
Step 1
Cut one 14-inch length and one 12-inch length of Accu-Flex® beading wire.
Step 2
String onto the 14-inch length of beading wire: one crimp and one Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp then trim excess from the short end of the beading wire.
Pass one 4mm jumpring through the Accu-Guard and the loop on one half of the 16x14mm toggle clasp then close.
Step 3
String five 3mm rounds onto the beading wire.
Step 4
Continue to string the following pattern six times:
- One 3mm round
- One 4mm round
- Two 6mm rounds
- One 4mm round
- One 3mm round
Step 5
String the following pattern twice:
- One 3mm round
- One 4mm round
- One 6mm round
- One 8.5mm bead cap
- One 8mm round
- One 8.5mm bead cap
- One 6mm round
- One 4mm round
- One 3mm round
Step 6
Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.
Step 7
Repeat Step 2 using the 12-inch length of beading wire then use one 4mm jumpring to connect the Accu-Guard to the second half of the 16x14mm toggle clasp.
Step 8
String one 3mm round onto the beading wire then repeat the pattern in Step 4.
Repeat the pattern in Step 5 once then repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.
Heart Chain
Step 9
String one 3mm round onto one 1-inch eyepin then form a simple loop. Repeat to create six 3mm round links (two for earrings).
Step 10
String the following onto one 1-1/4 inch headpin then form a simple loop to create one bead drop:
- One 3mm round
- One 8.5mm bead cap
- One 8mm round
- One 8.5mm bead cap
- One 3mm round
Repeat to create three bead drops (two for earrings).
Step 11
Connect the following to using 4mm jumprings to create a heart chain:
- One bead drop
- One sterling silver heart charm
- One 3mm round link
- One gold-filled heart charm
- One 3mm round link
- One gold-filled heart charm
- One 3mm round link
- One 4mm jumpring (connected to the remaining Accu-Guard of the 14-inch length of beading wire)
- One sterling silver heart charm
- One 3mm round link
- One double heart link
Use one 4mm jumpring to connect the unused loop of the double heart link to the remaining Accu-Guard of the 12-inch length of beading wire.
Earring Instructions
Step 1
Connect the following using 4mm jumprings:
- One bead drop
- One gold-filled heart charm
- One 3mm round link
- One sterling silver heart charm
Step 2
Use pliers to slightly open the loop on one 18mm fishhook earwire, connect the sterling silver heart charm then close the loop.
Step 3
Repeat Steps 1 - 2 to create a second earring.
